We have an incredible weekend planned for Mother's Day. We are honoring all the women in attendance with a beautiful rose. It is a small thing, but it symbolizes our appreciation for the wonderful women of God who are part of our church. God has truly blessed our church with some amazing women. Sometimes, I stand in awe of the women of God in our church and in the Church world today. We have women on the front lines of ministry, and they are making a difference in the church and the community.

Praise God for the wonderful Christian women who are teaching our children about God, going to the streets to feed the hungry, serving the hurting, helping the sick, providing comfort and food for the widows and widowers, and doing whatever is necessary to expand and strengthen the church and the work of the kingdom.

Many of these women are working, most are mothers and wives, and yet, they are actively involved in ministry in the church. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to pastor such a great group of women and young ladies. On this Mother's Day.. all of us.. say Thank You for your heart for the church and for Christ.

God bless you all..

Pastor Ed

I like your description of the Christian women in your church as awe(some). My mother passed in 1986.She was the glue that held the family together.I remember how we liked to listen to walter martin on the radio she enjoyed his rants on critical thinking.I think she would agree that faith is really the glue that holds families and friendships together.Time and adversity are the best triers of such faith.Again your church group sounds awesome...God bless you all.

Raul and I attended Orange Hills a decade ago. I remember the Mother's Day rose fondly. Those were happy days. Much credit going to the fellowship and foundation found at Orange Hills. As a newspaper editor now married to a teacher too many miles away to attend Orange Hills, I thank you for the foundation you gave to my children. Leslie is now married. Ceslie is in college. Wesley is a Sophomore and Presley plays two instruments in three school bands at the age of 13.
Happy Mother's Day to you all and know you never left our thoughts.
